Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer
Robert F. Scott brings 30 years of human resource experience to Memorial Health System, with nearly 20 years in the healthcare industry. As senior vice president and chief human resource officer, he has led a human resources system integration and standardization, aligning key HR operations to the goals and objectives of MHS. He has also championed human resource business analytics to expand workforce capacity and capability at Memorial.
Scott is active in the Springfield community, serving for several years on the board of directors for the United Way of Central Illinois, including his role as chairman of the board for 2018 - 2019.
He has been with Memorial since 2013, having previously served in an HR leadership capacity at Advocate Aurora Health in Chicago and SSM Health in St. Louis. Scott earned a bachelor of science degree in business from Marquette University and a master of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin. He is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management.
