Mitch Rogers oversees Equity, Diversity and Inclusion efforts at Memorial Health System, working with a diverse coalition of colleagues to create a culture where everyone feels safe, welcomed and included. He is also responsible for projects to increase access to care for all.
Rogers has more than two decades of experience in healthcare, both in management and as a registered nurse. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as system administrator of cardiovascular and pulmonary services for MHS. He earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing as well as a master degree in business administration with a healthcare concentration from Benedictine University.
Rogers is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives. He mentors students and volunteers as a board member of the Lincoln Land Community College, serves on the YMCA board and is a past chair of the American Heart Association’s Heart and Stroke Walk. He was honored for outstanding service in leadership by the State of Illinois in 2018.
