David Graham, MD

Senior Vice President and Chief Quality and Innovation Officer

David Graham serves as senior vice president and chief quality and innovation officer of Memorial Health System. Dr. Graham provides strategic and operational leadership for quality and operations improvement; decision sciences; safety and accreditation; the patient, physician, colleague and community experience; and the transformational and digital innovation efforts of the organization. His vision is to improve health through clinical and technology innovation, and his methods emphasize process improvement and high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. Dr. Graham is an experienced clinician and informaticist with more than 24 years of experience in healthcare delivery and health information technology. He previously served the executive team as the chief information officer and chief medical information officer.

Dr. Graham graduated from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in 1995 and completed the family medicine residency at the Oregon Health and Sciences University in 1998 and a faculty development fellowship at the University of Washington in 1999. He practiced in rural eastern Oregon before joining the faculty at the University of Colorado in 2004. He joined the SIU School of Medicine Department of Family and Community Medicine in 2008 and continues active practice and teaching as a clinical associate professor. Dr. Graham is board certified in both family medicine and clinical informatics.
