Memorial Health System is committed to high-quality patient-centered care. Our nationally recognized quality efforts aim to provide our patients with not only the safest, highest quality of care, but a singularly great patient experience.
To ensure the care we deliver is safe and effective, Memorial uses Lean Six Sigma, a process improvement methodology that helps eliminate waste and identify errors or defects within a process. Using this model, Memorial has created protocols such as our Star 80 and Star 45 programs, a team effort between departments to provide immediate care to heart attack and stroke patients, situations where time is most of the essence.
Our system-wide commitment to quality has been recognized on a national scale by respected and peer-reviewed committees, associations and publications focused on patient-centered excellence.

These quality reports reflect Memorial Health System's commitment to helping patients and their family members make informed healthcare choices. Measuring and monitoring our performance also helps us evaluate and improve how we care for our patients.
