High School Student Programs

Memorial Health System supports the healthcare workforce of tomorrow with several programs designed for area students.

Explorer Post

Memorial Explorer Post 1897 is a program designed to educate high school students about the variety of career opportunities available in healthcare, including occupations in nursing, radiology, rehabilitation, respiratory therapy, laboratory, pharmacy, cardiology and many more.

The program consists of six sessions scheduled from October through February. At each session, students will rotate through stations in a specific field to get a better feel for the responsibilities associated with each department. The program will wrap up with a Recognition Ceremony in March to celebrate the completion of the program. 2013-2014 Schedule
